Characteristics of Nuphar Japonica
It is capable of withstanding hard water, but for optimal development, softer water is recommended, it is recommended not to exceed temperatures of more than 25Âş. It has a single triangulated leaf for each stem, which differentiates its tonality in the beam (brighter tones) and on the underside (darker tones).
When emerged it can bloom, its characteristic five-petaled yellowish flowers add variety and beauty to the aquarium, it is advisable to add Co2 and maintain high lighting to fully enjoy this plant, although it is not necessary.
