Phyllanthus Fluitans characteristics
This pretty and relatively small floating plant it is easy to grow in aquariums, if good lighting and nutrient-rich water are provided. The plant propagates by branching and breaking its thin, smooth stems. It is also capable of grow emergent on wet and muddy substrate. Under optimal growing conditions, one can expect small star-shaped white flowers to appear in the axils of the leaves.
La Phyllanthus Fluitans looks a lot like a floating fern of the genus Salvinia; however, Instead of two floating leaves, you have only one at each node (alternate leaves).
The thin dipping stem has tufts of red roots and round floating leaves and water repellent with a heart-shaped base that hides the stem more or less completely. The leaves often have a convex center, while the margin of the leaf is uniform with the waterline.
Under favorable conditions, small white flowers with six petals appear in the axils of the leaves.

They arrived incredibly beautiful, but with the passing of days they have all fallen… a pity.
