Characteristics of Rotala Vietnam H'ra
It has the same elegant growth type as the green Rotala sp. “Green” and horizontally branched stems. When combined with Rotala sp. "Green", Rotala sp. “H'Ra” will be especially effective for creating contrasts. R.sp. "H'Ra" / "Gia Lai" differs from the similar Rotala sp. “Colorata” with narrower light red leaves and more protruding stems when grown under the same conditions.
This plant, introduced as Rotala sp. "H'Ra" belongs to the variable species Rotala Rotundifolia. It is apparently named after the H'Ra village in the Gia Lai province in the central highlands of Vietnam. Also sometimes called Rotala sp. "Gia Lai" for the province of origin.
La Rotala Vietnam H'ra looks a lot like Rotala Rotundifolia “Colorata”, however, when grown under the same conditions, its shape is more orange in color and leaves slightly narrower, and a more outstanding and horizontal growth. The same type of growth can be observed in Rotala Rotundifolia "Green", which differs mainly from R. Rotundifolia "H'Ra" by its exclusively light green color.
