Characteristics of Echinodorus "Reni"
The new leaves of the plant are brownish red color. It can be used in small aquariums and not very difficult to maintain. The plant requires a lot of light and nutrition for optimal red color development, with less light the plant will show greenish colored leaves.
This variety has broadly elliptic leaves, dark red color with slightly lighter colored veins. It remains small for a long time with leaf-blades 10cm long and 6cm wide, then it is suitable for the foreground, but over time it forms leaf-blades up to 25cm long, 8cm wide and petioles 10cm long.
