Characteristics of Echinodorus "Red Flame"
Echinodorus "Red Flame" has a moderate growth height of about 30 cm and forms a rosette dense leaves of many leaves. Its underwater leaves have a stem about 10 cm long and a sheet up to 20 cm long and 10 cm wide. Younger leaves, in particular, show a contrasting pattern of spots dark red densely arranged on a background bright red-brown a light green. Even on older sheets, the markings can still be seen clearly.
With its strong color and striking pattern, Echinodorus “Red Flame” is a real eye-catcher in the aquarium. As a solitaire in the middle distance, this sword plant variety sets a strong accent. With its rather low growth height, it can also be used at the bottom of small aquariums, up to 30 cm high.
