Characteristics of Alternanthera Reineckii "Mini"
It is a dwarf variant of Alternanthera Reineckii that forms compact low-growing shrubs when they grow underwater. It assumes a deep brown color comparable to the "Rosaefolia" variety. This makes it one of the few red foreground plants. It was unveiled in Europe around 2007.
When grown emerged, it closely resembles the emerged forms of other varieties of Alternanthera Reineckii, as it forms fairly long stems with elongated internodes. Its striking dwarf growth form with stunted internodes is reserved for the submerged form.
