Staurogyne Bihar Characteristics
Staurogyne sp. "Bihar" was imported from the northern Indian state of Bihar as a supposed species of Hygrophila. However, its floral characteristics suggest that this unidentified plant may belong to the genus Staurogyne. Its submerged leaves are partially lobed and therefore resemble Hygrophila Pinnatifida.
It is found in the aquarium hobby in the United States. It was imported into Russia some time ago, but in the rest of Europe it probably hasn't reached many places yet.
