Characteristics of Rotala Boschii "Nanjenshan"
In bright light, protruding horizontal side shoots will form. It was previously erroneously called "Mayaca Sellowiana", although there is no connection with this species of Mayaca. The plant grows to a well-populated massif when conditions are favorable.
The shape Thick growth can be greatly improved by pruning. Rotala sp. Nanjenshan grows best under relatively strong light and the addition of CO2.
Compared to other species of the genus Rotala, it is an undemanding plant that grows well in medium light.
Rotala Boschii propagation is easy: by cutting side shoots or top shoots that are simply replanted into the substrate. When cut, the plant sheds many side shoots and grows abundantly and creepingly. The same is true when it reaches the surface of the water. Older stems can simply be replaced with replanted cuttings.
