Marsilea Hirsuta Characteristics
The water clover Marsilea Hirsuta is widespread throughout Australia. It is mainly found in swamps and floodplains.
In stores, the names Marsilea Crenata, Marsilea Hirsuta, Marsilea Exarata, Marsilea Drummondii and Marsilea Quadrifolia are often seen, although at first glance they cannot be perfectly differentiated.
Most species of the genus Marsilea can only be reliably identified in their emerged form by means of their sporocarps (spore-bearing capsule).
