Limnophila Mini “Vietnam” has been known in Europe since around 2010 within the aquarium hobby, and is still somewhat difficult to come by.

The leaves of Mini “Vietnam” are linear to lanceolate, with a sharp point and a weakly serrated margin (3 to 4 teeth on each side), 1.5 to 2.5 cm long, and 1.5 to 2 mm wide. The leaves grow in spirals of 5 to 7 on the stem. The plant is light green in color; Under strong light, the midribs and stems are light reddish brown.
