Under natural conditions, snails can absorb lime from water or calcareous stones through the soles of the feet. In addition to delicious plant components like spinach, carrots, dandelions, peppers, and seaweed, this bar contains calcium carbonate.

Calcium carbonate is not soluble in water *, so it does not harden the aquarium water. However, snails can recycle calcium carbonate and use it to build their shells. Snails can excrete excess calcium carbonate. There is no risk of overfeeding.
