Characteristics of Crinum Calamistratum
It is a robust bulb plant type "Onion", it is the smallest species of the Crinum, it presents narrow leaves that narrow at the end of the blade, dark green. It is an ideal plant for Acuascaping, although it is not recommended for small aquariums. Despite being the smallest species of the genus, the leaves often reach heights of up to a meter, it branches out spreading its leaves like tentacles.
Its flower is highly appreciated at the decorative level and is easily achieved with proper care, two or three large flowers rise on thin stems of a single capsule slightly exceeding the height of the water, which remain open for a week, flowering can occur monthly.
