Characteristics of Ammania Senegalensis
This plant stem from Tropical africa it develops rather narrow leaves, 2-6 cm long. In the submerged form, they develop a color red-brown to almost orange-red. Characteristically, the margins of the leaves are rolled down. This species grows and spreads faster than “Ammania gracilis”.
A substrate rich in nutrients and a good lighting. This ammania best placed as a middle or background group or as a “dutch street” in dutch-style aquariums.
