One way of Rotala elegant from eastern Brazil. It is characterized by upright stems of reddish-brown color and curved leaves, light green to reddish in color, linear and sharp. Not as easy to grow as others rotate them but not too difficult; make sure there is lots of light, standing and a constant supply of CO2 and nutrients.

Characteristics of Rotala Mexicana "Araguaia"

It is native to many tropical and subtropical regions of the world, for example, in South America, West Africa, Australia and Japan. Therefore, it is not surprising that this species shows a wide range of variations.

R. Mexicana first appeared under the name of Rotala sp. 'Araguaia' a South American form on the market, offered by the Japanese company Rayon Vert. Varieties from Australia and other areas are still rare and hard to come by.
