Drosera Scorpioides Profile
Drosera Scorpioides characteristics
Origin: Southwest Australia
At first glance, it would be expected that this species cannot grow in height, but nothing could be further from the truth. This variety grows on a trunk and allows old leaves to dry out. The whole looks fun because all the sheets are crisscrossed.
Watered
It keeps the plant very moist. To make it really easy, a saucer of water can be placed under the plant. Complete this immediately as soon as it is empty.
Lighting design
Place the Sundew in a bright place. When the plant loses its dew, this is an indication that the plant needs more moisture. Move the plant to a more humid environment or place a glass on it.
Of the Droseras in our current range, Drosera filiformis, nidiformis and binata are all hardy. For the rest this does not apply and they must be brought inside before the onset of winter.
Fertilizer
Sundew does not need fertilizers.
