Characteristics of Lagenandra Meeboldii "Kerala"

In general, Lagenandra are slow growing and hard to find in stores. A highly tolerant aquarium plant that grows well with a wide range of water parameters, it will hold up to virtually any type of condition. This variety blooms quite often.

Due to their low requirements, they are a good choice for any planted aquarium or shrimp.

Lagenandra thrives best on hard surfaces, attached to different types of wood or rock with fishing line or the like. Not used to being planted in fine media such as sand, the rhizome has to be exposed.
