Cryptanthus Bivittatus characteristics
This plant originally from Brazil and is in the Mountain regions of the same, where it grows very often in the crevices of the rocks.
These bromeliads are generally quite small. Their hojas spirally arranged in a flat rosette, rigid, elongated and lanceolate (spearhead-shaped), narrow, up to 15 cm long, with wavy and serrated margins, bent back towards the tips, variegated with longitudinal stripes ranging from several Platinum de pink, red, crimson or maroon, white to cream and light green to dark olive green, with an ash gray underside and their flores are clustered, inconspicuous, white, nested in the center of the rosette.
Begonias are native to tropical climates y humid subtropical. Some species are commonly grown indoors such as inside plants and ornamental for terrarium. They are characterized by their vividness in the color of its leaves and flowerss that changes according to the large number of varieties that make up the species.
