Characteristics of Aliso Pineapples
These Alder Pineapples are harvested along the streams of northern Black Forest in southwestern Germany. They belong exclusively to the Black Alder. Ripe pineapples are collected directly from the trees in the fall. They are then air dried. Pineapples are not collected from the ground, so optimum quality is guaranteed.
- Alder Pineapples make the water slightly acidic (decreases the pH value)
- They decrease the density of germs and hinder bacterial and fungal infections naturally.
- Releases humic substances, coloring the water brown.
- They improve the welfare of animals and facilitate the molting of shrimp.
- They provide surface for the biofilm that the prawns graze.
- Decoration material for a natural biotope appearance.
