In principle, you cannot give a Sarracenia too much water. It is no problem for this plant to have its feet constantly in the water. We recommend putting the potted plant in a saucer of water. Make sure there is always a generous layer of water on the saucer. This can be just tap water
Lighting design
Place the plant in a bright place. This is important for both growth and coloring. This can be on the windowsill or outside. The plant also likes a humid climate.
All Sarracenias in our range can have temperatures from -20 ℃ to 40 ℃ without any problem. Therefore, the ideal place outdoors is the side of the pond. The plant will go into hibernation towards fall and winter. Old cups turn brown and few new cups are produced. In spring or early summer, plant development will begin again.
Fertilizer
