Characteristics of DENDROCARE - No Mite
What breeder of fruit flies does not know about the problem of mites?
These small parasites can seriously disturb and sometimes even destroy food crops. The mite problem usually occurs especially during the summer months when temperatures rise. Any predatory mite can cause rapid weakening in a fruit fly culture. Often the only thing left for us as enthusiasts is to start over with a new, mite-free food crop somewhere else in the house, away from previous crops to avoid recontamination. For fruit fly crops we advise not to use wheat or oats.
The added herbs of No Mite have a strong, pungent odor that has a deterrent effect on mites.
No Mite is also effective in controlling terrarium mites, for example snakes, lizards, turtles, birds and rodents etc., simply by spreading it on the infected soil.
This product is very effective and not harmful to people and animals.
INSTRUCTIONS
Put a teaspoon in an empty container. Add the fruit flies to this container with No Mite and shake it to powder the flies. This will kill the mites. Before transferring the powdered flies to the new culture base, we can separate the flies and excess dust using a sieve. We recommend not throwing the excess powder back into the can.
Do not mite to avoid contamination with dead mites.
Because it is a non-harmful product for both fruit flies and our pets (fruit flies quickly get rid of it and will not be affected by it, we can repeat these instructions every time we need to create a new crop for fruit flies, however we do not advise using it to feed your pets directly.
ADVISORY
Use it to dust the spot or table where the new fruit fly crop is placed.
This prevents any mites left behind in your workspace from reinfecting the new fruit fly crop. No Mite has a great moisture absorption capacity.
Since the humidity level in our workspaces is usually quite high, we advise removing the excess used for each new fruit fly crop and then sprinkling the spot or shelf again.
This product can be kept indefinitely, as long as it is kept away from moisture.
