Characteristics of SALTYSHRIMP Sulawesi Mineral 8,5
Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 was developed based on the results of a scientific analysis of water originating from lakes in the Malili Lake System in Sulawesi. It serves for mineralize water reverse osmosis, rainwater, fully desalinated water, etc. and requires some additional measures for its complete dissolution. Water remineralized with this mineral salt will result in an almost exact copy of the water of the Lake Towuti and a correspondingly high pH of 8.5, which also serves to greatly reduce pathogens.
Sulawesi Ore 8.5 contains all minerals and trace elements important that the prawn species known from this region need for their health, well-being and coloration. This mineral salt promotes microbial regeneration of biological filter substrates. It also reduces the danger of harmful germs as it improves the formation of antagonistic microflora. Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 increases carbonate and total hardness in a ratio of KH / ° dH = 0.78 / 1.0.
All the shrimps less fussy Sulawesi such as freshwater cardinal prawn (Caridina dennerli) can be kept and create with positive results with both Sulawesi Mineral 7.5 and Sulawesi Mineral 8.5. For the most susceptible shrimp, we hope to achieve successful long-term breeding by using Sulawesi Mineral 8.5, which is virtually identical to Lake Towuti water chemistry.
Instructions for use:
Sulawesi Mineral 8.5 water outside your aquarium. I know will dissolve almost completely if CO2 is added for a few days. In a normal amount of CO2 (one bubble per second) the salt completely dissolved in approx. 3-4 days. If you use CO2 to dissolve mineral salt, be sure to aerate the water afterward for at least three hours with an air stone to expel the CO2. Afterwards, the water is ready for use. We recommend adapting the new water temperature to that of your aquarium. Be sure to add the undissolved particles to your aquarium as well. Close the container after use.
