Lagenandra Keralensis characteristics
lagenandra keralensis it is a notable species from the state of Kerala in southwestern India. lagenandra keralensis actual resembles the broadleaf forms of Lagenandra meeboldii, but differs primarily in terms of inflorescence characteristics. The egg-shaped leaves settle into a rhizome creeping and are colored in brown tones. They have a finely curled edge and short hairs on the leaf blades and petioles.
In nature, it is found in shady stream banks, as well as in several other species of lagenandra. We recommend medium lighting, moving water, addition of CO2 and a balanced contribution of macro y micronutrients, also through the substrate. Emerged cultivation in terrariums must be successful in moist substrate and with high humidity.
