The newborn hatchling needs a variety of different nutrients after the first molt (after the first molt, they get nutrients from the yolk sac, so they don't eat anything).
Shrimp Baby Food contains all the essential proteins and amino acids that are important for healthy growth. Highly digestible carbohydrates and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) provide the necessary energy for the molt. Carefully selected algae, vegetables and herbs provide young people with micronutrients. Green lipped mussels are known for their high glycosaminoglycan content, which is a very valuable component of shrimp shells. We have also added a multivitamin blend to provide all the vitamins that shrimp need and avoid lack of. Essential minerals and trace elements are provided by a concentrate of coral red algae that contains more than 50 different minerals and trace elements.
Shrimp Baby Food is a complete extrudate. This manufacturing method guarantees high digestibility. All the nutrients contained in these foods are highly bioavailable. Powdered micro granules form a thin film-like layer on all surfaces in the tank. This is necessary since baby shrimp are quite sessile at first, which means that they usually remain where they were born and that food has to get to them. If you don't, you are at risk of starvation.
Shrimp Baby Food has been manufactured with the utmost care, it is a fully extruded and 100% conglomerate powder food. Contains 300 ppm astaxanthin for brighter colors.
